Show the gas to a point on Mountain Fuel's main transmission line 60 miles to the north in Uintah County. Line size has not been determined, deter-mined, but it will be adequate to permit inclusion of big quantities quan-tities of gas from other fields in the general area. Target date for completion of the gathering systems and connecting con-necting line delivery of gas has been set for November. Mountain Fuel will transport the gas to the general Salt Lake City area where the company serves large industrial consumers consum-ers and has substantial domestic distribution systems. Sinclair, which owns more than 90 per cent of the San Arroyo field, has completed six gas wells in the field, including four dual producers. The San Arroyo unit includes nearly 12,-000 12,-000 acres. The agreement will provide a market for shut-in gas reserves; spur exploratory and development develop-ment drilling in eastern Utah, and provide substantial reserves for Utah's rapidly expanding industrial in-dustrial and domestic markets. The intrastate sales does not require Federal Power Commission Commis-sion approval, but is contingent upon obtaining a certificate from the Utah Public Service Commission. Mountain Fuel Co. Sinclair Oil, Sign Purchase Pact Mountain Fuel Supply Co. and Sinclair Oil and Gas Co. announced execution of a gas purchase agreement providing for the sale by Sinclair to Mountain Moun-tain Fuel of 30,000,000 cubic feet of gas per day from general San Arroya and Bryson Canyon area of Grand County. The agreement was joinly announced an-nounced by W. T. Nightingale and William H. Morris, presidents presi-dents of Mountain Fuel and Sinclair Sin-clair respectively. At the same time, Sinclair said it had completed a gas purchase contract from Trend Oil Co. of Los Angeles for the purchase of gas from the Bryson Canyon Unit which has substantial producing pro-ducing properties in the Bryson Canyon field immedaitely to the southwest of the San Arroyo field. The Mesa Pipeline Co., a new corporation, is being formed to make application to the Public Service Commission for authority author-ity to build and operate gathering gather-ing systems in the San Arroyo and Bryson Canyon areas and pipeline facilities to transport |
