Show Sen. Bennett Seeks Reelection, Cites Record of Past Two Terms his second term. In making his announcement, Sen. Bennett said in part: "In making my formal announcement an-nouncement of candidacy for reelection re-election I feel there is no need for a lengthy statement. My personal per-sonal and political philosophy is based on my faith in the self reliance re-liance of Utah's peoples and the basic principles on which our nation was founded, principles which sorely need defenders today. to-day. "Briefly those principles are: freedom of the individual, preservation pres-ervation of constitutional government; gov-ernment; protection of state's rights, elimination of unnecessary unneces-sary federal spending, strengthening strength-ening the free enterprise system through a reduction of governmental govern-mental interference and vigorous vigor-ous opposition to world communism commu-nism and socialism. "Over the past 12 years I have in support of those principles, cast many votes, supported many programs, building a record for all to see. After the voters in Utah review this record during the coming campaign I hope they will trust me to represent them in the Senate for six years more.
