Show LUCY REDD ANNOUNCES PROGRAM FOR DEMO WOMENS CONFERENCE :-&LK'-J ft Miss Lucy Redd, Democratic National Committeewoman from Utah, today announced the distinguished dis-tinguished speakers' program for The 1962 Campaign Conference Confer-ence for Democratic Women to be held in the Nation's Capital May 20, 21, 22. President Kennedy and Vice-President Vice-President Johnson head the list of speakers who will report on the objectives and accomplishments accomplish-ments of the Administration during the three-day meeting in Washington's Sheraton Park Hotel. Mrs. Franklin D. Roosevelt will address a luncheon meeting on May 21 on the Status of Women Wom-en Commission. Honored guests will be the women appointees of the Kennedy Administration, Operation Support briefing sessions on the issues, a special The Administration's space program will be the subject of James E. Webb, Administrator of National Aeronautics and Space Administration; the Food for Peace program, the subject of George McGovern, Special Assistant to the President and Director of the program; Arms Control and 4 Disarmament, the subject of Adrian S. Novem-ber. Cabinet members participating in the briefing sessions include Secretary of Interior Stewart L. Udall on natural resources; Secretary Sec-retary of Agriculture Orville L. Freeman, to report on farm policies; poli-cies; Secretary of Commerce Luther H. Hodges, who will discuss dis-cuss the Administration's trade program; and Health, Education and Welfare Secretary Abraham Ribicoff on social legislation. Undersecretary of Labor W. Willard Wirtz will discuss jobs and economic growth; Assistant Secretary of Labor Esther Peterson Peter-son will brief the conference on the Nation's youth needs; Undersecretary Under-secretary of Health, Education and Welfare Ivan A. Nestigen, will report on the President's program of medical care for senior citizens through Social Security; Sen. Maurine B. Neu-berger Neu-berger and Rep. Edith Green of Oregon, will report on consumer problems and Federal aid to education, edu-cation, respectively. Various aspects of foreign policy will be subjects of Operation Oper-ation Support briefing sessions with Chester Bowles, Special Adviser Ad-viser to the President, discussing the em'erging nations; Fowler Hamilton, Administrator of Aid for International Development, speaking on foreign aid; and Teodoro Moscoso, Assistant Administrator Ad-ministrator for Latin America, on the Alliance for Progress.
