Show Twenty Covered Wagons Arrive For Sf. George Celebration Twenty covered wagons and 120 persons reached St. George yesterday as activities for the Dixie Centennial Celebration got into full swing. The mechanized wagons autos dressed up as covered wagons left Salt Lake City on Tuesday, spen the first night in Nephi, the second in Cedar City and arrived in St. George Thursday Thurs-day to open the 1961 centennial event. The trip commemorated the trek to Southern Utah of the original Dixie cotton mission 100 years ago. The official week long festivi ties in St. George open Saturday when senior citizens, 80 years or older, will be honored at a program pro-gram in the St. George Tabernacle, Taber-nacle, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The featured event of the centennial cen-tennial celebration will be Sunday Sun-day when George Romney of American Motors is the guest speaker at special services in the St. George Tabernacle at 8 p.m. Mr. Romney is a descendant of Miles Romney, architect of the St. George Tabernacle and courthouse.
