Property owners will have the opportunity to vote separately Saturday, April 30, on all three proposals. Polls :- will open for Districts 334 and 336 from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. According to town board members, mem-bers, these community improvements improve-ments can be obtained without ANY INCREASE IN THE PRESENT PRES-ENT TAX LEVY. Dry Fork Line WPA funds totaling $10,734 for labor expenses, Jhve been allotted al-lotted for the Dry Frk water line. This aid is an outright grant not a loan. If the bond-election Is approved, the town will have a new water line from Dry Fork to Bingham for $19,000. The present' Dry Fork line Is an old wooden line laid in 1923, and is infested with a fungus growth which causes leaks and the waste of much water. A new line. would increase the supply of water 20 per cent, providing pro-viding 20,000 gallons more water wat-er per day than Is now obtained, engineers estimate. Playground A municipal playground, for public recreational purposes would be "a community asset of value to youngsters in the day and for adult softball leagues in the evening. Such . a playground as Is proposed, would be useful for band concerts and Fourth of July celebrations. $2000 by the sale of town bonds is needed for this project. : .. Cemetery T WPA funds are almost assured the town if voters approve bond election for $6000 for cemetery improvements. The cemetery changes will probably cost the town less than that figure and is expected to become self-supporting when plots are offered for sale. |
