Often members of the Utah National Guard receive special consideration by their employers because of leadership and special technical skills they have developed de-veloped in Guard training. The man who completes 20 years service with the National Guard advancing at the average rate will receive over $25,000.00 in pay for attendance at Armory drills and field training and in retirement benefits.
