Show LOF.il AMERICANS. Sow Every Section of the Country Resent Indignities to the Country. Washington, Nov. 2. Inspector-General of the Army Breckinridge has submitted 'to the war department a report of the operations opera-tions of his department. He dwells at length upon the activity of the army during the paet year. At one time, the report asserts, the country seemed upon tbe verge of war, which served to show the eagerness with which all Americans are ready to resent indignities. When war seemed inevitable the response of the people to a call not yet made, but anticipated, for men was something some-thing thoroughly gratifying. These tenders of regiments of men came spontaneously from all sections of the country, Texas being, be-ing, perhaps, the lirat to offer her services for rallying around the flag in defense of our national dignity.
