Show IN THE DISTRICT COURT IN AND FOR the Third Judicial district of Utah territory, county of Salt Lake. V. G. Matthew, plaintiff, vs. M. J. Hunt, defendant, summons. The people peo-ple of the territory of L tah send greeting: To M. J. Hunt, defendant: You are nereby required to appear in an action brought against you bv the above named plaintiff in the district court ct the Third Judicial district of the territory of Utah, and to answer the complaint com-plaint filed therein within tf n davs (exclusive of the day of fervicel after the service on yon of this summons if served within this county; or, if served out of this county, but in this district, within twenty days; otherwise within fortv davs or judgment by default will be taken again? t you. according to the prayer of said complaint. The said action is broneht to have judgment aeainst the defendant in the um of $i0, with interest in-terest thereon from the 28th day of December, 1890, at the rate of ten per cent per annum and costs of this action : alleged to be the amount of a certain promissory note, executed aud delivered to the plaintiff by the defendant, bv signing the same as "Mike hunt'' at Salt Lake. November 23, 1890, dne In one month from said date, and bearing bear-ing tea per cent interest: and that sail defendant has not paid trie same nor any part thereof. And you are hereby notified that if you fail to appear and answer the sail complaint as above required, the said plaintiff will take judgment against you for the sum of $50, with interest and coPts of this action.
