Davis, his wife, as parties of thfirt part, made and delivered to the undersigned truete, a party of the second part, a certain truct deed o the real estat hereinatter described for the pnr-pone pnr-pone of securing to Elton Hoyt, the party of ta third part to said trust deed, the payment of a certain promissory note of even date therewith, made and delivered to said Elton Hoyt by the said Theodore A. and Elizabeth V. Davis, for the stun of six thousand five hnndrnd (06iO) dollars, payable one year after dat at Salt Lake City, Utnh, to the order of said Elton Hoyt, together with interest thereon at the rate of 10 per c?nt per annum from date thereof until paid, interest payable pay-able quarter yearly.
