Show OVER 1200 KILLED. The Terrible Disaster in Mauritius is Officially Offi-cially Confirmed. . . London, May 20. Baron De Worms, parliamentary par-liamentary secretary of the colonial office, read a telegram in the house of commons this afternoon confirming the terrible disaster dis-aster at Mauritius. It said that one-third of the capitol city at Port Louis is destroyed. Among the buildings wrecked are the Royal college and twenty-four churches. Many sugar tniils in tho country are demolished, and valuable machinery badly damaged.
