Show .v. Yesterday's Council Proceedings. The house bill No. 12, amending the Com-piled Com-piled Laws of 1888, section 8850, relating to eminent domain, was read a third time and pasted, It is as follows: If the plaintiff is a railroad, mining or ir- rigation company, it may move the court, or a Judge thereof at any time after the commencement com-mencement of the suit, on notice to the de-fendant de-fendant or defendants, if they are residents of the judicial district, or have appeared in the action, otherwise by serving a notice directed di-rected to them on the clerk of the court for an order permitting plaintiff to occupy the premise sought to be condemned pending the action, and to do such work thereon as may be required lor the easement sought.
