John Farish was was down from the Scott Hill properties proper-ties last week. He said that his men are siill in the Elgin, Crystal and Augusta Au-gusta claims, aud large bodies of low grade ore, carrying much zinc, ia being removed. Mr. Farish thinks the properties pro-perties may be made to pay well if properly worked and the ora rightly treated. Mrs. O. C. Lockhart aud family left the Pr.rk last week for Salt Lake, where thev will remain until November. Novem-ber. Mr. Lockhart's health is much improved; so much so, that she iuteuds spending the winter in Park City. Dr. Wilson has returned from the east. Mrs. Wilson is still in New York and wiil not retuiu to the Park until November. Mrs. Berlin and Mrs. John Varcoe left for a visit in Salt Lake Wednesday. , C. A. Short, principal of the Park City public schools, has been appointed a judge in the educational department of the territorial fair.
