The cardinal added that Archbishop Ireland was personally satisfied that Morgan's assurances would be carried out, aud that he (the cardinal) has every reason to believe that tlio president presi-dent and the secretary of the interior were benevolently disposed toward Catholic Indian schools, and would treat them in a just and equitable manner. |
