Show Hud Luck at the Fnneral. The funeral of tho late Ephraim CMs-! CMs-! singer, of neur Bine Church, Upper : Sauoon township, was held with considerable con-siderable difficulty At the home of the deceased's parents, abont two miles from the church, elaborate preparations were made all day Tuesday for the din-; din-; ner which was to be served at the conclusion con-clusion of tho obsequies. A calf was killed and set aside to await the roasting process. When the hour arrived for this on Wednesday the matrons having the affair in charge were greatly surprised to find that during tho night some person had stolen the calf, together with other of the funeral meats.
