The present arbitration agreement wdl not be allowed to operate oper-ate beyond the lobster question without j tho consent of the colony. Newfoundland, Newfound-land, Sir William said, desires au agreement agree-ment for unconditional arbitration on all points that can be raised under the treaties. Should the Knutsford bill pass now it would be forced upon a resentful re-sentful people. Lord Knutsford moved to adjourn the second reading of his bill until Monday and paid a high compliment com-pliment to Premier Whiteway. |
