Mid-doon. Mr. John Haunan and wife of Salt Lake, are taking in the mauy places of interest in Park City. Park City has been unusually quiet for the last few days, awaiting the arrival ar-rival of Mr. Chambers to circulate his many checks among his employees. C. The Ontario mine shipped today 192.700 pounds of tirst-class ore. The Crescent shipped 2fl,7O0 pounds concentrates. con-centrates. ' Joe Young, superintendent of the Utah Central, and party, were sightseers sight-seers in the Park They visited all the mines and places of interest, returning in the eveiunc to the metropolis. Sunday afternoon a largo number of people witnessed a horse race on tho race track, between Voicot's Peanuts, and Combaw's Grceuleaf mare. The race was closely contested, and was decided de-cided in favor of Peanuts. A fire was discovered in a Itarn Sunday, Sun-day, but was put out before any damage dam-age was done. Park City has shipped during the last week up to Sunday, September lith, 1.T41.750 pounds of ore, divided among the producing mines as follows: Anchor, An-chor, lfl,8o(); Ontario, -NIO.IOO; Crescent, Cres-cent, 208,200; Daly, 201,700; Jiggers, M.OOO. Ore shipments today: Ontario 110,-700, 110,-700, Anchor 52,400. M. S. Aschheim has returned from Montana. James Kirvin, a former foreman of the Ontario mine, arrived in Park yesterday yester-day evening. Mr. Kirvin was welcomed back to his old home by many of his friends. Yefelerday afternoon Mr. Bader of the Ontario mill, was out for a buggy ride, when his horse became frightened at the locomotive aud upset the vehicle, Mr Bader was thrown out and was scratched up considerable but received no serious injuries.
