Show TEACHERS IN SESSION, A Number of Interesting Papers Head at the Convention, St. Paul, July 9. The national educational edu-cational association reassembled this morning. The first paper of the day was the report of the special committee on "Phychological and Hedasrogieal Observation." presented by George P. Brown of Illinois. Char'niian Dr. W T. Harris, United States commissioner of Education, read another paper on the same subject. Prof. Charles Degarmo, from Illinois, read a report on the special inquiry in relation of instruction instruc-tion to will training. Supt. W. II. Maxwell, of Brooklyn, N.Y., presented a paper on "Examinations as tests for Promotion." Department work by the various sections was taken up this afternoon. |
