Show The great Shoshone falls in Idaho are owned by a syndicato of Butte and Omahnlcapitalistslwho are spending eon--siderablo money to make (ho place a resort re-sort for tourists. These falls are next to Niagara In magnitude, while tho scenery scen-ery in the immediate vicinity is .much grander than that nrouud Niagara. The Boise Statesman thinks that tho federal government should own the property. We question whether the goneral government gov-ernment would spend as much money upon the falls and vicinity or take as good care of the resort as tho capitalists capital-ists who now control the property. |
