Show A Conuccting Link fione. The late Hon. Samuel Adams Turner, of Norwell, possessed a unique interest to the student of our early history. His death removes the last link of ft very short chain which connected us with the pilgrims. Mr. Turner, who was born in 1792, remembered Ebenezer Cobb "Father Cobb," as he was called who died in the first year of this century, at the ago of 107, and who knew the Children Chil-dren of the passengers of tho Mayflower. So in three lives Peregrine White, Ebnezer Cobb and Samuel Adams Tur-ner-the entire 270 years of New England's Eng-land's existence was represented.-Los-ton Journal |
