A horrible case of suicide was discovered discov-ered here about 5 o'clock last evening. Mrs. Hannatiu and her little daughter were returning home from a visit ami w hen near the grave yard, just north of town, came suddenly upon the awfully aw-fully mutilated and decomposed body of a man. Tiie remains were brought to town and sn inquest held by Justice Haynes. At the inquest was brought to light the fact that the remains wero those of a man named Con Harrington who has been missed from the camp for MX weeks. Klghly-five dollars in cash was found in the pockets of the clothes and a knife covered with dried blood was found near where the body lay. This was considered evidence of suicide. The body was so mutilated by wolves that it was only reeogiii.ed by the cloth-ing. cloth-ing. A brother of tho unfortunate man, who is now working in camp, testitied to the identity of the remains. |
