Stevens has been awarded the contract for erecting the new Chamber Cham-ber of Cominerco building, his bid being $11,500. With the exception of nn elevator, ele-vator, a steam-heating apparatus, plumbing, plumb-ing, hardware and mantel work, Mr. Stevens has tho entire building under his supervision. It is expected that tho foundation work will be liniKhed by the middle tf next lnontl? and that tho building itself will bo completed by November 1st. It is proposed to make the etructuie architecturally onoof ornament orna-ment to the city. |
