The first ballot showed four to eight in favor of the plaintiff, and then in it her instruct ions were asked from the court and after obtaining !hem a second ballot was taken, resulting in se en lo live for I he defendant, and during dur-ing the night there was no change from these figures. At half-past nine yesterday yester-day morning the jurors came into court and announced their inability to agree. They were discharged. |
