R Rampton presiding The minutes of the meeting held heldon on oa January 16 1939 were read and andon andon andon on motion of Mr Van Fl et t unan unan- unanimously unanimously approved Mr B Brough rough representing the Mountain States Fuel Supply Co met with the board to discuss the use of gas at the proposed new Junior high school He that stated stated that 40 of the gas used in our state is I produced in Daggett county Utah i and is taxed by the state The Theother Theother other 60 comes come from Colorado and Wyoming He Hc stated that gas use is re responsible re re- spon ible for only a very small per cent of the loss to the coal in industry in in- industry in the state The questions were discussed at length and the president assured him that the question would be betaken betaken betaken taken under careful consideration when the need arises Dr D.
