Show LEGIONNAIRES, AUXILIARY RITES INSTALL OFFICERS District Officers Direct, Enjoy Social With Members Here A Joint meeting of tho American Ameri-can Legion Post No. 30 and their auxiliary Wednesday evening even-ing at the Civic Center was also Installation night for officers of both organizations. District Commander Joseph Hyiton of Heber installed in office of-fice the following legionnaires: Wayne Shelley, commander; Stan Jacques, adjutant; Sam Feraco, first vice-commander; O. R. Warner, second vice-commander; John Jackson, finance officer; of-ficer; David C. Lyon, chaplain; ; rtiiitu uiiHK, irancis yumn anu Dewey Knudsen are members of tho executive committee. Besides Mr. Hyiton visitors of the post Wednesday were Norman Nor-man Sims of Salt Lake City, national committeeman who spoke on the national convention conven-tion to be held in Los Angeles next week, State Adjutant B. K. Farnsworth who also made a short address, A. S. Horsley, both of Salt Lake City, and Judge Fred Lindbeck of Murray. Mrs. Violet Lindbeck of Murray, Mur-ray, district auxiliary president, installed the following auxiliary officers: Mrs. Wayne Shelley, president; Mrs. Glen Davies, vice president; Mrs. Rex Tripp, second vice president; pre-sident; Mrs. Ross Hocking, financial fin-ancial secretary; Mrs. Joe Sullivan, Sul-livan, corresponding secretary; Mrs. C. A. Mortey, historian; Mrs. Mike Brisk, chaplain; Mrs. William Allmark, sergeant-at-arms. Chairmen of committees named nam-ed include: membership, Mrs. Francis Quinn; welfare, Mrs. Glen Davies and Mrs. Quinn; Americanism, Mrs. Rex Tripp and Mrs. David Lyon; unit activities, Mrs. Mary Sullivan; Fidac, Mrs. Lyon; program, Mrs. Irene Brisk and Mrs. Bessie Dahlstrom; entertainment, en-tertainment, Mrs. William All-mark All-mark and Mrs. Vern Faddis; Junior auxiliary, Mrs. C. A. Mor-ley Mor-ley and Mrs. Glen Davies; music, mu-sic, Mrs. Morley and Mrs. Sullivan. Sul-livan. Miss Beverly Clays gave several sev-eral vocal selections and M'iss Thelma Throckmorton sang vocal vo-cal solos, accompanying herself on the guitar.
