thes s superintendent u peri perin n t p present resen t The minutes of the meeting of November 1st were read and un- un unan unanimously an approved A committee of four our citizens from Clinton John Draayer Aus- Aus n Child and Loretta Child the Teachers Parent Asso- Asso Association Association and the Town Board of Clinton Ir Drayer explained that through a misunderstanding Mr O 0 II H Bybee had hadnot not been paid for his summer work as recreation recreation- recreational al leader Mr Ir Anile Arvile L Child as clerk of the town board reported that it had paid out for playground equipment placed on the Clinton school grounds and 50 50 for Mr rr Bybee's services On re- re an explanation of the boards board's action that it pays only one half of the bills the committee accepted the agreement will pay 2500 more to Mr Bybee and bill the board for one half the cost of equipment placed on the school ground round if the board pa pay the other for services On motion of Mr Van Fleet seconded ed by Mr Cook it was agreed that the Town 1 Own Board be paid towards the teachers teacher's salary and one half the cost of placed On the school grounds Mr Draayer reported that a de- de lay by delay deby had in the Clinton Town board raising the money to pay for its two acres of land pur- pur purchased purchased chased from rom Mr Richard West Vest But everything e is now clear draught beer near nearl neara l a school school Gentlemen In respect to the licensing o of Draft Beer near the Bountiful Junior high school I have the fol- fol lowing following report to submit to you ou I Imet met with the Bountiful City council and protested the transfer of Mr Hansens Hansen's license to sell draught beer from his old place of business to his new location just cross across the street south of the Jun- Jun Junior high school Petitions against the lie granting of ofa a beer licenses at this location have been circulated in the two Bountiful wards the two Center Center- Centerville ville ille wards and South and West Vest Bountiful ul wards Many citizens si signed ned these petitions which were submitted to the mayor and city council with further protests in regard to either transferring the license or issuing new ones The matter was considered and the vote ote of the stood foor for ranting granting the licenses and one against Now gentlemen the Junior high school chool was established a reasonable distance from rom all places of busi busi- business business ness and it was the intention t to o keep it away from all places such c the one under tinder t Bountiful school is asking for 12 5 chair chais with will which to seat the play playroom playroom room but no action was taken Tr Mr Burton reported that there ther e are more band members in the hi higl h school band than they have suits suit 5 to supply and the they are asking for fo r eight additional suits The have hav also asked for a for the th band and he recommended their r purchase d been reported to him that at least leas t one of our school buses is ove over over- overloaded r loaded students having to stand standup stan up On motion of Mr air Dibble the th matter was referred to the superintendent n to adjust Mr Parrish reported that the t tC kie C C C people started work th this is morning on the leveling of the t he school grounds rounds at Centerville He U Te reported that the camp will furnish furnis h the fuel and oil which may be bechar charred char ed to this board and U the town tow U Reference Reference was made to t tU th the form e er action of the board to learn where the responsibility is It was found fou nd that this board is liable for 60 of the cost I Mr Ir Cook called attention to the tl ic fact that the West Point well h has as dried to a point that not h water can be had to supply the 1 he school and that t town wn board sa sano ys no has been recci v- v ed cd to connect cor their water II lie e rec- rec recommended re c- c that such authorization on be made On 01 1 motion of Mr Dib Dibble seconded by Mr Parrish it was un unanimously t i n decided to have the t town water system connected to the school to furnish the water wat e
