Show G V T Mauss l One of Bountiful's Best Citizens Died Mon Ion Victor George Mauss whom we have always looked upon as one of Bountiful's best citizens passed away a Monday at his home in Boun Bountiful Bountiful after tw two o or three weeks ill ill- illness illness ness He suffered much of late years from injuries lie he sustained in accidents while Working on the Bamberger section as foreman some years ago He had his badly hurt and his collar bone broken which caused his hand to shake and be- be before before fore that he suffered a broken leg Mr Ir Mauss was born in Ger- Ger German Germany man many April 15 1868 son of Wen Wen- Wendell Vendell dell delland and Marie Mauss but has re- re resided resided sided in Bountiful 45 y years IrS He was retired as section fore fore- foreman foreman man on the railroad od of his health Surviving are his widow Eliza Jane Groves Gro Mauss l three sons Arthur r Victor Mauss Tooele Al- Al Albert bert William Villiam Mauss Bountiful and Ray andRay Geor George e Mauss Salt Lake and two grandchildren Funeral services were held Wed Ved Wednesday afternoon in the Bountiful Second ward chapel with Coun Coun- Counselor Edward L Davis officiating Brigham C Holbrook and Henry V Stahle were the speakers W V O 0 Sessions opened the meeting and William Villiam Lawson pronounced the benediction Interment was inthe in inthe the Bountiful cemetery |
