Centerville Boys Recovering From Hurts in California From Front word just received by Mr and Mrs J C Wood of Centerville their son Delbert and his hia cousin Melvin Mehin Wood who were In a truck accident some thirty-five thirty miles i east of Auburn California three weeks ago this Friday are both recovering from their injuries is still in the hospItal in Auburn where he was taken sf- sf after af after ter the accident but has so far re- re recovered recovered re recovered covered as to be Le able to sit up in bed His leg was cut and bruised and afterwards infection set in but buthe buthe buthe I he is cured of that now but the doe doc doctor tor is js grafting skin over the wound now Melvin had his jaw broken in 2 places He only bad to be in the hospital ten days lIe He Is ia out now but still under the doctors doctor's care The two boys were driving n a nI I truck for a Salt Lake firm finn from the latter city to San Francisco and had been doing so since last March H Heavy vy rains made the road slip slip- slippery pery and being down grade on a turn in the road was the cause of other trucks and machines bump bump- ing log bumping into them
