Show Bingham High . Basketball After the game at Grantsville hard fought, but unfortunately lost Bingham is ready to stage a comeback this week-end when they meet Granite. At the Grantsville game, the Miners Min-ers showed improved teamwork, and though their inspired playing was not quite good enough to win, they played an excellent game. All of which gives Bingham renewed hope that their break-in is due tonight to-night -. ik After the game tonight the student stu-dent body will sponsor a dance music by the Smooth Keys. That means the smoothest musicin town and a thoroughly delightful time for everyone. Put your best bib and tucker and we'll see you there. Play A number of the High School faculty attended the performance in Salt Lake City of the "Old Maid" Monday evening. Mr. Grant Leaves Bingham High School faculty and students are mourning the loss of Mr. Buck Grant who left Bingham Bing-ham to accept a position in the Seminary at Downey, Idaho. However, realizing that the change is an advantage for Mr. Grant, they all join in wishing him success and happiness in his new work. Bingham High Miners Club Enjoy Skating Party The members of the Bingham "Miners Club spent last Saturday in Riverton at a roller skating party. Mr- Pollard, the faculty advisor of the Club, exhibited some exceptional ex-ceptional fancy and figure skating to the amazement and pleasure of the Club members and various spectators. We hope he can still sit down. After eating at a well known Midvale Junction hotel the Club was driven home In the two cylinder cyl-inder car of the advisor. The members present were Jack Chriftenson, Gordon Deakin, Austin Aus-tin Loveless, Gene Sumnicht, Buddy Bud-dy Macke, Martin Prigmore, Bobby Steele, Reed Lyon and Mr. Clarence Clar-ence E. Pollard. |
