the previous meeting were read rend and approved I There appeared before the board Mr MI W L Butler who presented a amodel amodel I Imodel model of a draft re regulator for I and explained its opera opera- opera opera-I operation operation tion claiming that it will pay for itself in one year in the saving of fuel He proposed to install one in I each cach of the schools where gas is bein being used and give the board till the of February to test it If at that time the board is not satis- satis fied fled with the saving saving it it- will be re- re removed removed re removed moved without cost If it proves satisfactory the board then agrees to purchase at each elch On OnI motion of Mr Howard a sample I contract ig i to be furnished the board for its consideration at the next Mr MI Smith reported that the principal of the Clinton school is askin asking that the windows of that school be fixed so that flowers can be kept in the school and Mr MI 1 Smith recommended that it be
