Show AMERICAN LEGION BASEBALL PLAYERS DINNER GUESTS Fourteen members of the American Ameri-can Legion baseball team, along with Coach Bailey Santistevan, were feted by 30 Legionaires of Post No. 30 last Friday evening in j the Legion Civic center. The banquet ban-quet was served by a local cafe. Past Commander L. E. Snow, Bailey Santistevan, an Commander Rex Tripp made brief addresses. Dr. j Russell G. Frazier exhibited motion mo-tion pictures of his Salmon river exhibition. Boys on the team who were present pres-ent at the banquet were: Louie Savlch, Tommy Pazell, Jack Larsen, Robert Davis, Joe Frisch, Sergio Alverez, Buddy Macke, Ensign En-sign Jensen, Rufus Garcia, Paul Garcia, Gene McDonald, Max Go-lish, Go-lish, Ross Pino, and Bailey Santis-I tevan Jr., mascot. I Educational leaders and physical! activity Instructors laud the nationwide nation-wide American Legion baseball ac tivities. As sponsors of the baseball base-ball team and a local recreation program for boys the Legionnaires endeavor to aid in building character, charac-ter, in furthering physical development, develop-ment, in instilling a love of clean sports, and in filling a definite need for summer recreational work in Bingham. Legion officers announce their intention in-tention to resume responsibilities for next year's recreation work and another Legion team. |
