of commerce its main object being to bear the report ot of lawr lawrence ence walker and auerbach tile eom committee mitte appointed to look into the matter of the paving rebate and Us its second praying for or time in which the delinquents on paving tax may pay their taxes the question of the special lighting tax was then brought up and it was suggested that the remedy in such matters hereafter he rafter be that no payments b be 3 made except under protest and after r a short discussion by those present it was ordered as the sense ot of the meeting that a strong pi protest otest b
