Show CHAS PETER fellowships AWARDED A moscow idaho dispatch of monday last says at its recent meeting the state board of education voted to accept on recommendation of dean F A thompson of the school of mines a scholarship offered by charles peter of salt lake city who has tendered to the universities of utah and idaho the funds necessary for the establishment of two exchange graduate fellowships in metallurgy one to be held by a graduate of the university of utah at idaho and the other to be held by a graduate of the university of idaho at utah these fellowships will be under exactly the same conditions as the united states bureau of mines cooperative fellowships at present maintained in each institution and the holders of the fellowships devote their time to research work on problems in ore treatment under tinder the supervision of the local representative of the bureau of mines dean thompson announces anni ounces that the school of mines faculty has nominated stanley S a member of the class of 1923 of the of idaho to be the holder of the fellowship at the university of utah the recommendation from the university of utah has not been received |
