Show COLORADO E L young of montrose who is general manager of the newly organized white city power development co was in silverton completing arrangements for beginning work at the holdings of the coni company pany in the bear creek section early next spring while in town lie he stated that a large development program would be undertaken by the company and that arrangements were about completed to employ a considerable force at the property during the coming season when the vindicator mine of the united gold mines company resumes operation in a few days a diamond drill w will ill be set up on one of its deepest levels in a drift toward the hull city and findley and a number of holes will be drilled into the territory of the hull city findley and deadwood properties of the united gold mines company according to the denver TA mining lining record all three properties were good producers on their upper levels but no prospecting work has been done at depth in any of the three with the possible exception of the hull city into which one lateral was extended from the vindicator early last year the veins which produced the ore in the earlier days on the hull city findley and deadwood are known to exist at greater depth because of the fact th atthe the course of most of them carries them through the vindicator where they have been developed to the side lines |
