| Show DEATH OF W H KORNS on the day of march W H korns one ot oi salt lakes substantial and most public spirited business men succumbed t to 0 an attack of heart failure almost without warning so sudden was the call that his hosts of friends in the habit of meeting and greeting 6 him dail daily y could hardly believe the news when the announcement of death came caine for many years up to the time of his death he was head of the korns warehouse co of this city and at one time he was one of the commissioners of the city when he came to salt lake in 1901 and after having been engaged in the newspaper publishing business in missouri iowa debraska Re nebraska braska and wyoming lie he purchased a half interest in the salt lake mining b review and became business manager of the publication later la ter lie he sold his interest to mr A B greeson the present head of the mining alining review co and went into the warehouse business which grew to substantial proportions and which at the time of his death was managed by his son J roderic korns mr korns was an earnst public spirited citizen he believed in his town and was always ready and willing to do anything to promote its welfare and the happiness of its people he was a native of illinois he is survived by his widow mrs roberta stalcup korns whom he married in missouri 38 years ago a son J roderic korns and a daughter miss rowena korns all of salt lake |
