Show THE FUTURE OUTLOOK A wonderful revival along mining and milling lines is anticipated when conditions throughout the united states again resume a normal basis to the careful observer it would appear that at an early day every branch of these industries should experience most gratifying prosperity and success and there is every reason to believe that when peace has been declared the mining industry will soon enjoy the same important recognition that was accorded to it during during the days of the war for the period of reconstruction will require as great a use of the precious metals copper lead coal and iron if not to a greater extent than was the case when every effort was put forth to furnish the government with the sinews of war during the past few months most pleasing activities have been noticed throughout the mining camps and districts of the west new blood and new money stimulated by opportunities offered through the medium of the mining industry have invaded our mining camps and districts and as a consequence extensive development work and equipment is noticeable at every hand new mines are being opened and old producers are being resurrected new and important strikes are almost daily being chronicled and the old days of fifteen or twenty years ago are being re enacted while the dincov ery of new camps is causing stampedes and wild excitement similar to those which made the discovery of tonopah and goldfield a history making epoch not so many years ago there can be no doubt but that the mining industry will come into its own in the near future in such a manner as to attract the attention of all industrial and financial circles the future never looked brighter for this line of endeavor than at the present time |
