Show National Labor Board Dismisses C. I. 0. Request The national labor board at Washington, D. C. this week dismissed the request of the International Union of Mine, Mill and Smelter Workers (C.I.O.) to act as bargaining agent for employes em-ployes of Utah Copper company com-pany and Kennecott Cop--per corporation at the Arthur Ar-thur and Magna mills. The board's action was based on the election held last September when employes employ-es voted 282 for the union and 000 against. E. M. Royle, secretary C. I. O., said the request was filed prior to the September balloting. |
