Nerdln were on the refreshment refresh-ment committee and Mrs. Harvey Qoff and Mrs. C L. Mitchell mads arrangements. Eighty women engaged en-gaged in cards, prizes being won by Mrs. Elliott W. Evans, Mrs. J. William Grant and house prize going to Miss Virginia Harris. Friday evening the Civic club heard Miss Lucille Tuttle read an EnglUh comedy, "Call It a Day" at the regular meeting in the Fire hall. Hostesses of the evening were Mrs. James West-wood, West-wood, Mrs. Paul Erz, Mrs. H. C. Jenkins and Mrs. Kenneth Harker. Xu-I Club Members of the Nu-I club were entertained last Friday evening by Mrs. Dee Johanson at seven o'clock dinner followed by contract con-tract bridge. Quests were Mrs. James Cariigan and Mrs. James Seal. Mrs. Wynn Raby and Mrs. Elliott W. Evans wore awarded high score prizes. Peterson-Carter Marriage Announced Mrs. Zelma Peterson of Lark announces the marriage of her daughter, Betty Irene, to Ralph Carlyle Carter, eon of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Carter of Bingham Canyon, in Salt Lake City last Thursday.
