| Show EARLY SETTLER CALLED mary jane mcneil or of bountiful died of pneumonia wednesday aftergut after but a few days illness mrs mary jane mcneill a resident of bountiful for moro more than fifty years passed away at tier her home in bountiful very suddenly at 9 wednesday morning of bronchial pneumonia after an illness that only buted back to friday night at 10 deceased was seventy years old the of last march she was born in liverpool england and was the daughter t of thomas and aad mary jane quinn there being but two children in the family she emigrated to america and located in st louis where she became acquainted with and married her late husband john mcneil who died aug pros pres loronzo lorenzo snow solemnized the marriage which took place in tile the fall of 1854 in 1859 she came to utah with her husband crossing the plains ns with ox and cow teams about fourteen years after their arrival in bountiful they located on the homestead where she lived up to the time of her death she joined the church of jesus christ of latter day saints in st louis before coming west she was the mother of eleven children ton of whom are liying lly they macj robert william joseph H george Q charles 11 and david mcneil and mrs mary jane KI kirkham ir kham mrs john 0 schmidt mrs elizaboth elizabeth fuller and mrs tar ariett bradshaw she has forty six grandchildren and ton len groat great grandchildren besides liar her own children she reared a stepson and two grandchildren F funeral services will be ba hold at the family residence sunday at 1 12 noon |
