Davies and son Billy returned from a vaca-tion trip to the Cedar Breaks, Z'ns park, Bryct Canyon, Fish Lake and a two-da- y visit in Antimony. Mr. and Mrs. Verne Faddls left this Thursday for Ogden to attend the State Firemen's Convention. After the convention they will be Joined by their son Robert for a vacation in Los Angeles and San Francisco. i r Mr. and Mrs. Ed Johnson and family left Wednesday for Los Ang-eles where they will visit with friends and relatives. Miss Beverley Johnson, their daughter, who has been visiting with an aunt will re-turn home with them. Mr. John-son is manager of the Canyon Merc, in Highland Boy. Miss Beverley Scussel returned home from Fillmore where she has been visiting her aunt, Mrs. R. W. Freeman. A dinner and dancing party was enjoyed Thursday evening at Pine-cre- st Inn by Mr. and Mrs. A. Mr. and Mrs. J. D-- Knud-se- Mr. Harold Wells, and Miss Ethel Burke, Miss Bee Blllingsly, and Mr. Allan Snlte, all of Kansas City, Missouri. Mrs. M. L. James, Mrs. Ivy Hull, and Mrs. Grace Webb returned this week after spending ten days at Shady Rest camp in Provo can-yon. i in, mi ? No. 2 Fire Ladlei Flan For Convention. Main business of the No. 2 Fire auxiliary in their Monday night meeting was discussion of plans for the Ogden state convention. Mrr. Clive Siddoway was hostess to the members. In the bridge games fol-lowing ' the business meeting Mrs. Tom Masters and Mrs. Vern Faddis won first and second honors at bridge and Mrs. Jay Farnsworth won consolation prize. Of the No. 2 auxiliary the fol-lowing will be In attendance: Mrs. Jay Farnsworth, Mrs. Ted Roblson, Mrs. Vern Faddls, Mrs. Tory Tobia-so- Mrs. Cliff Butterfleld, Mrs. James Householder, and Mrs. Cliff Siddoway. W. B. A. Meet In Highland Boy. Mrs. Ida Kannlainen entertained the members of the Women's Bene-fit Association at her home In Highland Boy last Thursday. After the usual business meeting, bridge was the diversion of the evening. Mrs. Sidney Tregaskis won high point honors, Mrs. Al Ablett second, and Mrs. Karl Gronning was award ed consolation prize. A lovely lun-cheon was served the guests. Party In Highland Boy. Mrs. George P. Smilanich enter-tained sixteen small guests at her Dinner and Theater Party. Miss Mary Hemlngton entertain-ed members of the Sticker club Monday evening at her home in Murray. A lovely dinner was serv-ed, covers being laid for the follow-ing guests: Miss Helen Johnson,, Miss Virginia Harris, Miss Lenore Richards, Miss Beth Christensen Miss Delia Macke, Miss Josephine Cary, and Miss Alida Thomas. Lat-er the group attended a theater. J Lagoon OuUng. A picnic lunch was enjoyed at La-goon on Sunday by a group of young girls. Those included were Harriet Atkinson, Gladys, Jean, and Lola Turner, Dorothy Hansen, and Betty Byrne. The girls were ac-companied by Mrs. Arthur Fike, and Mr. and Mrs. Mark Hansen. Jl Shower For Bride. The C. T. Club entertained at a miscellaneous shower Tuesday even-ing in compliment to Mrs. Woodrow Wilson, a recent bride. An impromptu program and games were enjoyed during the ev: enlng, after which, refreshments were served to twenty guests. Hostesses for the occasion includ-ed: Agnes Barnett, Catherine Geor-gela- Theresa DeMarco, Mary Ko-kle- Aspacla Brown, Mary Jones, and Kathryn Pazell. The bride was the recipient of many lovely gifts. Jl Birthday Anniversary. Sixteen friends of Billy Earl Clough were Invited to jhis home Thursday afternoon to help him celebrate his tenth birthday anni-versary. Games were played and prizes for winners awarded. Billy Earl has spent most of the week In bed earing for an eye which was Injured by the shattered glass from his spectacles, broken when a rock thrown at someone else hit him.
