when n it was discovered that about 73 of the 1506 lijOi members of the G A R It en entitled entitled entItled titled to voles votes in the th encampment were present with credentials All past do de department commanders and past Officers of the national G U A R B beides a dele delegate delegate gate for tor every 50 members of each de department department department is entitled to a vote Armory hall WitS was found to be altogether too small to admit all entitled to vote and after heating hearing the report of Command H M Nevius and receiving the reports of various officers and special committees a recess was taken until 2 Z when it was given out that the meeting would adjourn to Assembly hall ball where the further business of the day was continued Previous to the opening of the session Cooks drum corps and band of Denver gave an enlivening concert In Armory hall giving among other patriotic num numbers bets bers a musical treat entitled The Battle of Gettysburg G composed the old veterans Large tears coursed down the furrowed cheeks ks of many of the old veterans v Taps l ps stirred them Ulem to the very souls carrying them back to clearer recollections of the battle scenes No Outsiders Admitted The business session was strictly executive the tive At the Armory and In the after atter afternoon afternoon noon at atthe the Assembly hall guards stood at the doors
