extravagance especially do we favor the improvements of the streets and we demand the prompt and rigid enforcement enforce enforcement enforcement ment of all contracts with the city Record of Achievement I was elected on this pledge and this platform and within two years ears thirty miles of permanent sidewalks over two miles of paved streets over seven mile miles of sewers and many miles daily are flowing Into the city from the Big Cot Cottonwood Cottonwood I may say In passing that not one gallop gallon has since been added to the water supply secured by b the Democratic administration It must not be forgotten either that every eve obstruction legal and otherwise was thrown in the way of the accomplishment of this purpose by those who are now loudest In their claims of crr dit It At the time the taxpayers voted the bonds to enable the city elt to secure the Big Cottonwood water they also voted funds for a main sewer for the western and southern part of the city
