ELY WILL BE LIVELY DURING THE SUMMER V A Scott the traveling live Uve of the Mining Scientific Press has baa returned from a six weeks trip through Nevada camps camp He comes direct from Ely and states that that camp will be a most busy beginning with July By UBy July Jul said Mr Sc S tt yesterday the great gr at milling and smelting works at will win be handling ore in pretty good shape and the mines will be producing heavily One section of the milling plant plantis is ready to treat ore now but there Is not much to be gained by starting up too soon It Is aimed to get under good headway in time to send lIend the product to the smelter and as that will not be ready to treat ore and concentrates bi b fore July there will not be much doing in the mill for a month yet other than to possibly try out the machinery and run enough ore through to make adjust adjustments adjustments ments month Ely Is a great district the ores are found over a large area and the camp is destined to become a most productive one Everything is shaping up in splendid splendid did style s yle for the period of production and large earnings by the principal com corn companies and within another month or two the th world w will begin to appreciate what the district really is through the showing that will be made by Consoli dated and Mr Scott states also that a great deal of ot interest is being taken in the new gold discoveries In the Egan range about miles from Ely It looks he be says as though a goOd gold milling camp would result as there is water there with which to treat the ores
