wasi i attended by Drs Beatty and Clark of 7 the state board of health and a large of the practicing physicians of Utah county members of the so society society society representing Lehi Lehl American Fork Pleasant Grove Provo Spring Springville ville vile and Spanish Fork the resolution reflecting on Dr Beatty passed at the meeting of the was on mo motion motion tion of Dr Slater one of those voting in favor of the resolution at such meet meeting m et lag ing reconsidered The questions at issue were very fully discussed and Drs Beatty and Clark having explained their respective respective tive positions and the steps taken by them In regard to the several matters It was tho the sense of the meeting that the term tenn incompetency had been adopted In the draft resolution and passed J assed And It was Resolved That the Utah County Medical society upon reconsideration of action of Jan 15 1908 1903 and after atter hearing all parties interested Inter sted hereby hery her by rescind the resolution of that date and andA A absolve and exonerate Dr Beatty from A all nil charges of incompetency In the management of his office of secretary of oC the state board of health It was also That four years ago Dr Beatty had given an opinion to the ef effect effect fact that the method of ot sewage dis disposal disposal disposal adopted by the th Telluride Power company at Provo canyon was tho the one i best suited to their situation which had been and still Is an opinion con contrary contra contrary tra td t that of ot the physician making the complaint Third By the health officer at Lehi Lahi that he had railed failed to support the said officer In tn enforcing n after measles At the special meeting held to re reconsider reconsider reconsider consider the former action of the so society society society at which Dr Beatty was pres present present present ent these complaints were repeated and were ware admitted to be the allegations upon which the charge of incompetency was based In addition there bad been criticism of the state chemist In con connection connection with certain bacteriological tests which criticism was shown to tobe tob be bd b unjust and withdrawn of or Lehi Lehl hai passed an ordinance abolishing the compulsory clause relating to tion after measles Dr Holbrook the th health officer had understood from the mayor that Dr Beatty had indorsed In
