Lake theatre The usual run of takeoffs on the hated seniors is to be varied this year with a musical and this will be interspersed with dances and c clever ever figures The class is com compose of upwards of a hundred members md the bo boys s and girls have hae been work jug on the special stunts for some weeks past The exorcism exercises of the senior clas be begin begin gin Friday evening and this year the class wilt follow the old custom of hay hav haying having I ing a class da day devoted to fun and andI I frolic followed b by tile the more dignified affair of the real commencement day The class day will be held Friday even evening evenIng ing in the Theatre The is to be an elaborate one presenting several features which will make it iton iton on the order of good class light opera There are seventeen different musical selections and while the method of procedure of the fun is secret those who wh have heard some of it say it is cleverer than an any heretofore put on While numerous jokes which apply only to the High school will be sprung the entire production will be of a na nature nature ture which may be enjoyed by the gen general general eral public as well as b by the initiated The exercises of Saturday evening will be of a high order and are de designed designed signed to interest all fully as much if in a different wa way as do those or of Fri Friday Friday day evening The general plan is to present the work of the class for the year in a 8 series of studies or life pictures pic pictures tures some of them copied from clans heal ical paintings Beginning with Greece a short sketch the epoch In Grecian life presented is to be given by one of the class fol followed followed lowed b by a 8 picture of members of the class in groups representative of the life With some fine musical numbers interspersed will follow a nom Roman an scene a Shakespearean scene from lid tid summer Nights Dream an Indian scene and a scene from colonial his history history tory The entire arrangement has been made to produce spectacular pictures of great beauty and artistic merit Mrs rs Martha lartha Royle King has special charge or of the entertainments for both
