Show AN OLD RESIDENT DEPARTED Mrs Lois Horsley beloved wife of Harry Harr Horsley departed this life on Saturday Sept 8 1906 at her resi resl residence residence dence F street at 7 p m of par paralysis paralysis She emigrated to Utah from Brighton England in 1860 crossing the plains with the Hand Cart com corn company company pany arriving in this valley falley in Sep September Sept September t of the same year She was married in 1865 1565 on the second day of September In 1867 she went with her husband on a mission to St George in southern Utah and resided there until 1871 1571 1 when her husband was released to return to Salt Lake to take talce charge of the costume department of the Salt Lake theater She passed through the hardships of the settling up a new country but never complained She settled d in the thc Twentieth ward in 1872 Where wh re she ahe resided up to the time of har death d ath She was a true Saint ever eyer on hand to do good She was a member of the Female Relief society For a number of years she has hus been a great sufferer being an in invalid invalid valid for five years and ten months She leaves her husband two sons and six daughters Mrs Hattie Haltie Lam Lambourne Lambourne Lambourne bourne Mrs Alice Alicc Rushton Mrs Pearl Reid Mr lIr Clem Horsley Mrs Minnie Van Tan Stelter Mrs Annie May Fletcher Miss Gertrude Horsley Master Ralph y Also ten grand children to mourn her loss She was a good wife and loving mother |
