Tho Reading railroad rail-road company suspended all Brotherhood Brother-hood engineers employed upon the Gormantown fc Noriistown branch to day. They aro to have ten days' time in which to decide upon remaining remain-ing in the employ of the company at the cost of leaving tho Brotherhood. This evening a large meoting of the Brotherhood was held, at which delegates dele-gates were present from more than a dozen railroads of the United States and Canada. To-night other delegates dele-gates are arriving, and the question of resistance to the demands of the railroad is certain to be decided before Monday noon. Foreign delegatea interviewed to-night say that the existence ex-istence of the Brotherhood of locomotive locomo-tive engineers is at stako in this contest. |
