Show The popular demand for low prices has now reached Btreet car fares in San Francisco and also in some of the eastern cities." We suggest that the price of car riding in Salt Lake ib too high by juBt 50 per cent. A reduction re-duction to five cent fares, we believe, would not decrease the revenue of the road ,', but would rather increase it. The present faro, ten cents, is too much on the short lines of Salt Lake. Superintendent Arnold would add to his popularity by ordering a reduction to five cents. |
