He recently re-cently imposed upon the Masons of Winnemucca, representing himself as belonging to a lodge of Charleston, S. C. He borrowed money and otherwise other-wise beat the fraternity, and now the lodge report bim as an impoator. Derwert beat his way through Nebraska Ne-braska and Wyoming, and finally struck Salt Lake, where be tried bis games upon some of our citizens, but as his reputation had preceded him in the Hfrald, his success was only trifling. |
