Show Show Window va. Newspapar Advertising., Ad-vertising., There aro men, many of them, who spend their labor, and time, and even their money, in "show window" advertising, plainly acknowledging the necessity fur making some sort of display to attract customers; and ytt tbey will not spend a dollar iu newspaper news-paper advertising the very means by which, if properly done, tbey might attract the attention of a hundred hun-dred customers where the show window win-dow draws ono. Some people may not believe it, but it !b nevertheless true, that there are newspaper and magazine readers, who are far from considering the well - displayed and novel advertisements of their paper the least interesting feature in it. Readers there are, and probably very many of them, too, to whom good advertisements of good goods, and novelties, and bargains etc., are "news" in which they take vastly more interest than in other things that currently paes under that heud. Ladies, particularly, 1 think, are care ful Wd'chers fur what is now among the advertising columns, and that which Uiliera and brothers and bus- . bands might never notice iu this department de-partment of their paper, the wives aud daughters keep them steadily in formed about, and in the way, too, which is ol the most interest to the advertiser.
