The sale of liquors near a mine, quartz mill, or furnace, is a great detriment, especially espe-cially where there are but few laborers, labor-ers, as it is impossible to fill vacancies vacan-cies in case you discharge men lor drunkenness aud neglect of business. The mining and manufacturing interests of Utah are only in their infancy, and what we want is lo have them firmly established. es-tablished. The only way to do this is by protecting them. H. |
